After preliminary rounds of selection, Wei Hongwei, the sales department of China Machinery Digital Technology, represented the company in the half-horse competition.

Before the game, Wei Hongwei accidentally strained a muscle during training, and his body was no longer suitable for the whole race. His teammates advised him to give up the race, but he said, "if you want to fly, you have to chase; if you want to win, you have to do it. I can't live up to everyone's expectations. I want to win honor for the collective." In the end, he won the third place in the competition with a good result of 41 minutes and 41 seconds.
